Branson is located in the SouthWestern part of Missouri, just 5 miles from the Arkansas border, and 45 miles south of Springfield on interstate 65. Known as the “Live Music Show Capital of the World” , its performances and attractions can rival even those of Las Vegas. Of course, Branson is often known as a tourist destination, but with over 100 different live shows every year, residents are in a unique position to take advantage of the variety that a visitor would be unable to appreciate. It's not just the theaters, and the entire Theater District that draw travelers from far and wide, but also the variety of family friendly activities, including amusement parks, museums, and the amazing aquarium, to name a few.
Branson isn't just a hotbed of city life, as its location in the Ozark Mountains, and on the East side of Table Rock lake, provides additional activities in nature, both adventurous and relaxing. Watersports are a great way to appreciate the Lake, and dinner cruises or boat rentals are readily available, and, for boat owners, the marine maintenance and storage facilities are easily accessible. Branson is also the home of Moonshine Beach, for a sandy, relaxing day on the Lake, and Branson Landing and boardwalk is the best of both worlds, for a leisurely stroll on the lake, as well as amusements and dining options of all sorts. Parks and nature trails are also plentiful, and Table Rock, the namesake for the Lake, is located on the southern end of Branson, providing beautiful scenery, a place to drop a fishing line, or simply relax by the water. And if relaxing activities are what you prefer, there are 4 golf courses within Branson city limits, as well as several spas, and an outlet mall, for that retail therapy experience.
Homes in Branson can range from cozy residences in town, to lakefront properties, or mountain homes with a lake view, to sprawling acreage, even bordering the Ozark Mountain State park. Schools, restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping abound, both in town, and in the surrounding areas, providing convenient amenities no matter which location you choose. Employment opportunities are also abundant, given the assortment of attractions and activities in the area, the notable hospitality industry, and the infrastructure required to maintain such an amazing location.
Branson isn’t just a destination; it’s a lifestyle. Whether you’re drawn by the activities, the natural beauty, or the strong sense of community, Branson offers something for everyone, so no matter your preferences, "It's Your Show!"
